Searching for the “Third Space” on the Dance Floor is an ethnographic research project exploring how techno music and dance in nightlife spaces foster hybrid identities and nonverbal communication, bridging cultures through embodied experience and community. The project draws on personal reflection and interviews.

This collaborative research project investigates the water repellency performance and application methods of naturally derived coatings such as jojoba oil and carnauba wax - compared to a commercial synthetic water repellent. An aim of this work is to identify more sustainable alternatives for textile finishing.
